Component Developments drainage channels are manufactured as standard from austenitic stainless steel type 304 or 316 to BS 1449: Part 2: 1983.

After tungsten inert gas welding to BS 3019: Part 2: 1980 the material is immersion pickled to ensure correct cleansing and passivation of the material to fully restore its inherent properties.

Special alloys are used for channels to be subjected to aggressive environments. For advice on such applications, please consult the Component Developments technical team.
